Mark joined Bouchard Insurance as a Surety Specialist in the Construction Division in 2005 and has since been named the head of Bonding and Surety at the company. As a licensed CPA, Mark consults, strategizes and advises major construction companies on how to obtain and maximize their surety programs.  Mark also specializes in placing difficult surety programs within his strong network of underwriters.

 

Mark is a licensed Property & Casualty and Life & Health professional and has an extensive background in corporate tax law and business accounting.  Prior to working for Bouchard, he worked for the prominent Tampa accounting firm of Pender, Newkirk & Company, CPA.  Mark’s career includes over ten years of experience as a CPA and Tax Manager.  Mark’s approach in business is to thoroughly understand a client’s needs before developing a recommendation.  Committing to agreed-upon objectives, in writing, enables employers to select quality services and programs that create “win-win” based solutions for all parties involved.

 

He is involved in the community as a Board Member of Goodwill Industries – Suncoast, Inc. and President of the Inn on the Beach Condominium Association, Inc. of Longboat Key, Florida.  He is a current member of the Associated Builder and Contractors (Gulf Coast Chapter, Inc.), Florida Transportation of Builders Association, Inc., Suncoast Utility Contractors Association, Florida Surety Association, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Mark majored in Accounting and obtained his BSBA degree from Loyola University at New Orleans.  His professional memberships include Certified Public Accountant of the State of Florida and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
